SCOPE
This manual provides description, operation, and maintenance information, as well as a Repair Parts List, for the
Pesticide Dispersal Unit, MULTICAPABILITY, Helicopter Slung (PDU). Maintenance procedures include instructions for
removal, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair or replacement, and installation of
components as they apply to operator, unit, and direct support maintenance personnel.
This chapter describes the three configurations of the PDU and identifies the differences between them, identifies major
systems and components, provides detailed operating principles, and discusses various management and support
functions associated with the PDU.
