c. Replace belts.
(1) Loosen mounting nuts. Do not remove them.
(2) Turn tensioner nut counterclockwise (left) to loosen belts.
(3) Replace belts.
NOTE
Replace belts as a set. DO NOT replace only one belt at a time.
d. Line up pulleys.
NOTE
Compressor mounting nuts should be loose and belt guard removed. An
alignment gage can be made from a piece of scrap metal or wood and be used
to line up the pulleys.
