COMPONENTS OF END ITEM AND BASIC ISSUE ITEMS LISTS

Section I. INTRODUCTION

This appendix lists components of end item and basic issue items for the SCAITS to help you

inventory items required for safe and efficient operation.

The compnents of End Item and Basic Issue Items Lists are divided into the following sections:

a. Section II. Components of End Item This section does not apply to the SCAITS

b. Section III. Basic Issue Items.These are the minimum essential items required to place

the SCAITS in operation, to operate it, and to perform emergency repairs. Although shipped

separately packaged, BII must be with the SCAITS during operation and whenever it is trans-

ferred between property accounts. The illustrations will assist you with hard-to-identify items.

This manual is your authority to request/requisition replacement BII, based on TOE/MTOE autho-

rization of the end item.
