WARNING

Bottles or ampoules could break during handling. Use care when inspecting to

avoid cuts caused by broken glass.

a. Check the three liquid agent simulant bottles as follows:

q Be

sure caps are on tight.

Be sure bottles are not empty or cracked.

q If

any bottles are empty, order a new SCAITS and keep old SCAITS for replacement

parts.

q If

bottles are broken, clean SCAITS (para 2-5).

b. Check vapor agent simulants as follows:

Remove and open each box one at a time.

Without removing ampoules from vials, check that ampoules are not broken.

If ampoules or vials are broken and leakage is suspected, clean the SCAITS (para 2-5).

Make sure you have enough vials for next training session.

If you do not have enough vials, order a new SCAITS and keep old SCAITS for

replacement parts.
