After the patch (1) sets, apply adhesive (4) to the patched area, and allow it to become tacky to the touch.
(6)
Apply a light coat of powdered talc (6) to the patched area to prevent it from adhering to other portions of
the garment (3).
(7)
If required by paragraph a. above, patch the garment on the reverse side by turning it inside out and
repeating steps (1) - (6).
