ENGINE COOLANT HEATER KIT — ALL CARRIERS. Heats and circulates
coolant through the engine and battery box heat exchanger. After stopping a warm
engine, the heater is started. It will keep engine oil, engine block, and batteries
warm for 12 hours and permit restarting engine. The coolant heater is mounted in
the power plant compartment. A coolant pump circulates coolant through tubing to
the engine and battery box heat exchanger. The control box is mounted to the left of
the driver. It has a three-position RUN-OFF-START switch, HI-LO switch, and
indicator light. Coolant shutoff valves, at heater and engine block, control flow of
coolant into heater.
