Section XXIV. SINCGARS CABLES INSTALLATION
NOTE
· This procedure applies to vehicles without existing antennas. For
vehicles with existing antennas, remove all control cables. (Refer
to TM 9-2320-280-20.)
· Previously routed cables have been removed from figure 5-68 for
clarity.
24-1. Route antenna cable (7) from left side of mounting base (1), down through center access hole (4),
under integrated rack (5), and under right-side tunnel insulation (8) towards rear of vehicle.
24-2. Route antenna cable (9) from mounting base (1) to MT-6353/VRC mounting base (11).
24-3. Route power amp cable (2) from MT-6353/VRC mounting base (11), up through center access
hole (4), and connect power amp cable (2) to connector on W1J1 cable (2.1).
24-4. Route control cable (3) from MT-6353/VRC mounting base (11), up through center access hole (4), to
mounting base (1).
24-5. Route antenna cable (6) from front of MT-6353/VRC mounting base (11) and under
integrated rack (5).
