A1. A nose fairing and box fins are used on the Mk 55 mine for drop stability.
A2. The Mk 55 mine is equipped with suspension lugs 30 inches apart.
A3. The Mk 60 mine is equipped with two Mk 3 suspension lugs.
A4. You should install the arming wire in the Mk 60 mine before the aircraft is loaded.

A2. The assembly of mines is the responsibility of a mobile mine assembly group
(MOMAG).

considered jettison safe and not constitute a hazard.
