WARNING
If the
antenna is connected to a transmitter, make sure the transmitter is
not transmitting and will not be turned on prior to disconnecting or con-
necting the rf cable and/or entering the area bounded by the safety area
rope.
1.
WEAK OR NO RECEPTION AT THE RECEIVER.
Make sure the rf cable is neither disconnected nor broken.
Step 1.
Connect the rf cable.
Replace the rf cable.
Disconnect the rf cable
from the rf connector
on the balun
Step 2.
. Use the multimeter to measure the resistance between the inner
conductor of the rf connector
to the outer case (bare spot) of the
.  The reading should be less than one ohm.

If normal,
go to step 3.
If abnormal, replace the balun (para 4-15).
