CAUTION
Before lowering the mast, make sure the mast base swivel is posi-
tioned so that it will hinge (bend) in the desired direction.
(2) Person 1 removes the three guys
from guy stake C
while person 2
from the opposite side.  Person 1 holds all three guys
supports the mast
.  At the same time, person 2 walks
firmly and walks slowly toward the mast
backward slOW1y away from the mast and supports the mast
as it lowers to the
ground.
g. Removal of Guys, Guy Stakes, and Halyard.
(1) Disconnect the three guys from guy stake C to the top
center
and
guy plates.  Coil and bind the three guys
. Disconnect, coil and
bottom
bind each of the three guys from ground stakes B
, D
, and A
to the top,
center and bottom guy plates.
(2) Remove the four guy stakes from the ground.
