Check the resistance of each transformer.

Connect the multimeter as shown:

Use the LOWEST resistance range.

A good transformer should give a reading of less than 1 OHM. This indicates normal continuity.

NOTE

Even though the resistance check indicates normal continuity, this is no

guarantee that the transformer will operate properly with radio frequencies. The

best check of a transformer is in an operating hookup.

A reading of MORE THAN 1 OHM on the lowest scale

a reading of INFINITY ON ANY SCALE

INDICATES TRANSFORMER PROBLEMS.
