2-5. USE OF DA FORM 2404 FOR PMCS

If your equipment must be in operation all the time, check and service those items that can be checked

and serviced without disturbing operation. Make the complete checks and services when the

equipment is shut down.

Use the ITEM NO. column in your PMCS TABLE 2-1 to get the numbers for the TM ITEM NO.

column on DA FORM 2404. (Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet) when you fill out the

form.

The PROCEDURES column in your PMCS TABLE 2-1 instructs you to CHECK

AND HAVE REPAIRED OR ADJUSTED AS NECESSARY. Carefully follow these

instructions - AND - REMEMBER, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO OPEN UP

ANY UNIT.

WHEN YOU ARE DOING ANY PMCS OR ROUTINE CHECKS,

KEEP IN MIND ALL OF THE WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS IN

THIS MANUAL.
