Description of Antenna AS-1425/GRC
a. The AS-1425/GRC is a 4-1/2-foot diameter parabolic reflector type antenna
consisting of the following components:
(1) Reflector
(2) Feedhorn (including deicer equipment)
(3) Backmount
(4) Tilting assembly
(5) Antenna adapter (A)
(6) Guy cables
b. The antenna reflector is supported by the backmount, which is usually mounted on a mast such as Mast
Assembly AB-621/G or AB-577/G.
The antenna feedhorn is mounted on the reflector in one of two positions,
corresponding to two modes of polarization (horizontal or vertical). A dust cover is provided for the mouth of
