Operator and maintenance personnel should be familiar with the requirements of TB SIG 291 before
attempting installation of the antenna.

Performance of any field expedient repair creates a condition possibly dangerous to equipment and
personnel. The equipment so repaired should be taken out of service as soon as possible for
replacement of the defective parts.
WARNING
For the successful execution of methods of equipment destruction involving the use of demolition
materials, all personnel should become thoroughly familiar with the pertinent provisions of FM 5-25.
