TM 54120-287-15 duced  pressure.  In  vaporizing,  the  refrigerant  absorbs  heat  from  the  air  being  drawn  through  the  evaporator  by  the evaporator  fan,  thereby  reducing  the  temperature  of  the  air  which  then  flows  to  the  compartment  to  be  air  conditioned.. The low-pressure, low-temperature reabsorb heat from the air being drawn through the evaporator by the evaporator fan, thereby reducing the temperature of the air which then flows to the compartment to be air conditioned.  The low-pressure, low-temperature refrigerant vapor then leaves the evaporator and flows through the compressor  suction line through the compressor motor windings, to the compressor assembly and the cycle is repeated. 1-20
