b. Removal. Refer to figure 4-3. Remove two
screws and lock washers and fresh screen.
c. Cleaning and Inspection. Clean the guard in
cleaning solvent (Fed. Spec. P-D-680). Replace the
screen if damaged or broken.
d. Installation. Refer to figure 4-3 and install the
fresh air screen. Secure screen to housing with two
screws and lock washers.
4-20. Condenser Guard and Louvers
a. General. The condenser guard (fig. 1-2),
located at the rear of the air conditioner, is an
expanded metal guard that protects the condenser
coil from dam age. The condenser air discharge
louver is opened and closed automatically by an
actuator cylinder in the refrigeration system. A
