b. Install link (1) on stud (5).
(1) Place link (1) on stud (5).
(2) Install new cotter pin (6).
c. Install link (1) on stud (2).
(1) Position link (1) on stud (2).
(2) Install washer (4) and nut (3).
d. Check for 0.50 INCH clearance between edge
of blade (9) and canopy frame (10).
(1) Adjust rod end (7) to obtain 0.50 INCH clear-
ance between left and right edges of blade (9)
and canopy frame (10).
e. Inspect (QA).
f. Perform windshield wipers maintenance op-
erational check (TM 1-1520-238-T).
