NOTE
Adhesive must be applied within 2
HOURS after solvent cleaning. If adhe-
sive is not applied within 2 HOURS after
solvent cleaning, perform steps c.(2) thru
c.(4).
(5) Mix adhesive per manufacturers specifica-
tions. Use adhesive (item 3, App F).
(6) Apply a thin even coat of adhesive (item 3,
App F) to mating surfaces.
(7) Place washer (17) in position on bellcrank
(18).
(a) Ensure hole alinement.
(8) Maintain contact pressure on washer (17)
throughout cure time.
(9) Wipe excess adhesive squeezed out from as-
sembly. Use cloth (item 51, App F).
(10) Allow adhesive to cure 24 HOURS at ambient
temperature or force cure 1 HOUR at 200 °F
(93 °C).
d. Install longitudinal servocylinder (19) on bell-
crank (18).
(1) Aline servocylinder (19) with bellcrank (18).
(2) Insert alinement bolt (18.1) halfway through
nylon washer (17), bellcrank (18), and servo-
cylinder (19) from inboard side of bellcrank.
(3) Insert bushing (20) through bellcrank (18) un-
til it seats against servocylinder (19).
