REMOVAL/INSTALLATION – continued
c. Install panel (1).
(1) Place panel (1) over aft fuel cell and aline
screw holes with frame. Second person to
assist.
(2) Install 46 screws (9) and washers (10).
(3) Aline wire harness (8) with panel (1).
(4) Install eight clamps (4), screws (2), and
washers (3) along the bottom of panel (1).
(5) Install five clamp brackets (7), screws (5),
and washers (6) on left side of panel (1).
(6) Clock five clamp brackets (7) to avoid inter-
ference with side of panel (1) and airframe
(19).
d. Install forward fuel cell lower vent tube (para
10.24).
e. Install forward fuel cell lightning arrestor (para
10.4).
f. Inspect (QA).
NOTE
Before installing carrier drive and am-
munition magazine, ensure that all op-
erational checks have been performed.
g. Install carrier drive and ammunition magazine
(TM 9-1090-208-23).
