CLASSIFICATION OF FUSELAGE DAMAGE AND TYPES OF REPAIR – continued Category Action Limits f.   Main Landing Gear Cross Tube A Less than 25 PERCENT of cross section and less than 10 PERCENT of thickness or 0.040 INCH depth (whichever is less). (Damage must clear fastener holes or threads by 0.050 INCH minimum.) Repair (TM 1-1500-204-23). B Exceeds A. Replace. g.   Engine Mount Supports A Less than 25 PERCENT of cross section and less than 10 PERCENT of thickness or 0.040 INCH in depth. (Damage must clear fillets and fastener holes or counterbores by 0.050 INCH minimum.) Repair (TM 1-1500-204-23). B Exceeds A. Replace. h.   Mast Support Base Lightening Holes A Maximum allowable depth for triangular cavity: Inboard curved walls are 0.265 INCH; outboard curved walls are 0.265 INCH; 1.00 INCH from base of triangle to 3.10 INCHES outboard is 0.265 INCH; side walls are 0.125 INCH. Use flashlight and mirror. Perform impression inspection (para 2.88). Maximum allowable depth for circular cavity: Side walls are 0.125 INCH; remaining inside walls and bottom of cavities are 0.265 INCH. Use flashlight and mirror.
