10. MODIFICATION PROCEDURES: (Cont)
(4) Install or remove laminated shims (8) (as required) from lower bracket so that slid-
er plate will attain a tight fit.
(5) Installtwo
.75 LG machine screws (9) through upper bracket with
screw heads on the inside of the bracket.
(6) Installtwo No. 10, Type A flat washers (10) and two
hex nuts (11)
on screws and hand tighten.
(7) Install two
.75 LG machine screws (12) through lower bracket with
screw heads on the inside of the bracket.
Installtwo No. 10, Type A flat washers (13) and two

hex nuts (14)
on screws and hand tighten.
(9) Torque four nuts to 25 INCH-POUNDS.
(10) Inspect (QA).
(11) Repeat steps (1) through (8) for other crew seat.
11. CALIBRATION REQUIREMENTS: Not applicable.
12. WEIGHT AND BALANCE DATA: Enter the following data being sure to also include dates,
item numbers and revised Chart C basic weight in accordance with TM
Chart A (DD Form 365-1) entries:
