when  the  recorder  chart  is  removed.  Replacement recorder  charts  are  available  in  both  feet/degrees Fahrenheit or meters/degrees Celsius. The metric rolls are  recommended.  No  adjustment  is  needed  to  the recorder  for  either  style  chart.  The  ready-for-launch mode  calibration  temperature  should  be  checked  after placing  a  new  chart  on  the  recorder,  as  should  the alignment  of  the  stylus  on  the  “surface”  depth  line.
