Standard Organization and Regulations of the
U.S. Navy contains regulations to supplement
Navy Regs and provides standard administrative
and organizational guidelines for naval units. The
regulations and guidelines are designed to increase
the organizational and administrative effectiveness
of naval units.
Status of Forces Agreements clearly define
the status of one country’s military personnel
stationed in the territory of another country. The
host country usually gives up some jurisdiction
to the visiting country in some criminal and civil
cases.
